Your Role

In this role, you will help develop the work with supplier agreements at the Svappavaara mine. You will work closely with the operations to prepare documentation, follow up on agreements, and contribute to shared goals and key performance indicators. The role also involves regularly being out in production to follow up on how assignments are carried out and ensure that they comply with the agreements.

Here you combine a strategic responsibility with an operational assignment. You plan, coordinate, and lead external wheeled transport and machine services. The role also includes the practical handling of special products, additives, binders, coal, oil, and waste rock, as well as issues related to road maintenance. You will also act as a coordinator in dust-related matters. You belong to Svappavaara Open-Pit Mine, where drilling, loading, transport, and mobile maintenance are also included.

Your Daily Life as a Strategic Transport Leader:

• Follow-up on finances, invoicing, and cost outcome analysis
• Planning, management, and follow-up of contract services
• Reporting and compilation of CO2 documentation
• Planning and control of material flows and follow-up of transport assignments
• Responsibility for road maintenance with a focus on safety and accessibility
• Continuous contact with operations and suppliers to ensure that assignments and agreements are followed
• Preparation of documentation and reports that support the operations' planning and needs
• Coordination of activities related to dust issues and measures

You Bring With You

You work independently in many parts of the assignment and take responsibility for ensuring that your work is carried out well. The role includes both planning and ongoing decision-making, which means you need to be able to switch between different tasks and handle new situations as they arise. You communicate clearly and create good dialogues with the operations. When you analyze documentation, you draw conclusions that help find solutions and simplify work moving forward.

You also have:

• Approved high school diploma
• Experience in similar roles
• Driver's license for manual transmission
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience in contract management, construction law, contract issues, purchasing, or similar, preferably within the mining industry or maintenance (meritorious)
